Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter (2006) first aired.. Followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025).
Well, what can I say?
After watching the first episode of this Dexter prequel, I’m absolutely blown away. Even though it’s been a long time since the original, the show feels incredibly authentic. From the opening title sequence to the younger versions of the characters, their mannerisms and personalities are spot on.
I loved it
It’s a faithful recreation of the essence of the original and hopefully serves as a strong build-up to Dexter: Resurrections. Fans of the series are in for a treat! If you’re a movie junkie like me, then you’ll appreciate the time and effort that Clyde Phillips and everyone else put into making this happen.

It’s not my place to say where it could have been improved. Thank you.. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
